Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data pipelines, or related roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Experience with data pipeline frameworks like Apache Airflow, dbt, or Luigi
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for data processing
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data services (S3, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.)
- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with web scraping frameworks and tools (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, Playwright)
- Knowledge of streaming technologies like Kafka, Kinesis, or similar is a plus
- Understanding of API integration, version control (Git), and modern development workflows
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to handle large-scale data ingestion and transformation
- Build and optimize data models, ensuring performance and scalability
- Design and implement robust web scraping and web crawling solutions to extract structured and unstructured data from online sources
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate data workflows with APIs and services
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency across systems
- Implement monitoring and alerting to detect and resolve data issues proactively
- Support analytics and AI teams with structured, clean, and accessible datasets
- Continuously improve data infrastructure by adopting best practices in engineering, testing, and deployment
