Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in DevSecOps practices.
- Automate release deployments across multiple stacks and environments.
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD).
- Build, manage, and enhance Kubernetes clusters and associated tooling.
- Develop automation scripts (Python or Go) to support system administration and operational tasks.
- Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement secure coding practices, threat modelling, and automated security testing within pipelines.
- Manage configuration, dependencies, environment up-time, and deployment scheduling.
- Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Support vulnerability management and remediation across key environments.
- Contribute to disaster recovery and high-availability infrastructure design.
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure team on ITIL processes and tooling.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking DevSecOps Engineer to take a key leadership role in automating and enhancing our development pipelines, which support our on-premise Docker and Kubernetes infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our secure software development lifecycle, drive automation, and influence best practices across development, operations, and security functions. You will work closely with the Head of IT, CISO, and cross-functional technical teams, contributing to strategic initiatives, implementing secure and scalable infrastructure, and ensuring streamlined, reliable deployment processes.
