Requirements
Must:
- We need experience delivering user acceptance testing or functional testing on digital or technology programmes.
- We need the ability to design and execute effective test cases and test scenarios.
- We need experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments.
- We need familiarity with defect management and test reporting tools.
- We need strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- We need clear communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- It is beneficial to have experience with test automation tools or frameworks.
- It is beneficial to have exposure to API or integration testing.
- It is beneficial to have experience working on large, multi-team programmes.
- It is beneficial to understand release and deployment cycles.
Responsibilities
- We plan and coordinate user acceptance testing activities in line with delivery milestones.
- We define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and UAT test plans.
- We execute functional, user, and business acceptance testing.
- We design and run test cases, including repeatable and automated scenarios where appropriate.
- We log, track, and retest defects in collaboration with developers.
- We support business users and stakeholders throughout the UAT process.
- We provide clear reporting on test progress, outcomes, risks, and readiness.
- We contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement practices.
Description
We are seeking a User Acceptance Tester / Test Analyst to support delivery on a complex digital programme. This is an initial 6-month contract inside IR35, paying £550 per day, with an on-site commitment of 2-3 days per week in Westminster. The role requires active SC clearance and offers the opportunity to work closely with delivery teams and business stakeholders across technical and non-technical environments.
