Requirements
Must:
- Expert hands-on experience supporting and optimising Matillion in a production environment
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support for Matillion and wider data platform technologies
- Manage and resolve incidents efficiently to minimise disruption
- Proactively monitor platform performance and deliver enhancements
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, access controls, recoverability standards, and governance requirements
- Identify opportunities for automation and drive process optimisation
- Stay ahead of advancements in the data engineering space, sharing knowledge across the team
- Act as a subject-matter expert for Matillion within Technology Operations
- Lead platform support activities and help maintain a resilient, scalable data environment
- Troubleshoot complex data integration, transformation and workflow issues
- Contribute to platform feature design and supportability
- Maintain technical documentation, knowledge bases and best practice guides
- Support strategic initiatives and understand how data platforms shape long-term business outcomes
Description
We are a Financial Services business based in Gloucestershire, looking for a Senior or mid-level Matillion Support Engineer to join our high-performing Technology Operations team. This role offers an excellent salary between £45,000 and £65,000, depending on experience, along with a fantastic bonus and benefits package.
