Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Senior/Staff Engineer within web and mobile application development.
- Strong expertise in React and NestJS (frontend-weighted, 60% web / 40% backend).
- Angular experience.
- Information Customer 360 experience.
- Experience designing and delivering micro frontend architectures with module federation.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD, automation, and testing frameworks across unit, integration, E2E, and non-functional testing.
- Cloud-native expertise, ideally GCP or Azure (open to AWS).
- Skilled in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform.
- Knowledge of secure development practices, OWASP, authentication/authorization.
- Familiar with mobile frameworks (e.g., Ionic Capacitor).
- Strong track record of technical leadership and mentoring across squads.
- Ability to engage stakeholders up to C-suite level, influencing without direct authority.
Responsibilities
- Join at a critical stage as phase 1 of a new Digital Experience Platform goes live.
- Support 5-6 squads as their most senior delivery-focused technical leader.
- Partner with the Principal Engineer (strategy-focused) to shape technical direction.
- Drive engineering quality, security, scalability, and best practices across squads.
- Act as a mentor, challenger, and enabler, demonstrating what good looks like.
Description
We offer a full-time remote working model, with occasional quarterly workshops/events. The salary for this role is up to £84,000.
