Requirements
Must:
We expect candidates to have extensive experience with Java 11, Spring Boot, RDBMS, and SQL. You should be proficient in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, and have experience with CI/CD and Trunk-Based Development. Additionally, knowledge of monitoring, logging, and tracing is essential to ensure system reliability and performance. We value strong collaborative skills, so you should be able to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams, with clear verbal and written communication. A proactive, pragmatic approach focused on delivery is required, along with a growth mindset and a willingness to coach and share knowledge within the team.
Responsibilities
In your role as a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital client journeys. You will drive the technical direction necessary to enable modern, scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. You'll be responsible for writing high-quality, tested, secure, and performant code, as well as creating automated tests for all changes. Documentation of solutions according to team standards will be part of your duties, along with providing ongoing engineering support and maintenance for existing applications. We also expect you to coach and mentor peers and junior team members, advocating for continuous improvement in ways of working, quality, security, performance, and CI/CD processes. Engaging in communities of practice and working groups to support the development team will also be an important aspect of your role.
