Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience with the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl).
- Proficient in Perl development and maintaining legacy systems.
- Familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- You must be a resident of the UK to apply for this role.
Responsibilities
- Write, maintain, and enhance Perl-based web and backend applications.
- Support business-critical legacy systems and progressively contribute to modernisation plans.
- Develop new features and integrations with third-party platforms or internal tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs and performance issues.
- Collaborate with web designers, software developers, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring quality and maintainability.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for internal systems and APIs.
- Contribute to deployment processes and version control using Git and/or Azure DevOps.
Description
