Requirements
Must:
- Minimum CCNA qualified to assist with switch work
- Expert knowledge of networking technologies
- Breadth of Cisco Networking expertise
- Experience in redeploying existing kit across multiple buildings and 2 datacentres
- Proficiency in upgrading, installing, and configuring switch stacks
- Ability to optimize networks including implementing port security across public networks and routing all VLANs through firewalls
- Strong communication skills and a personable nature
- Must be SC Cleared
Responsibilities
- Lead projects and manage teams effectively
- Work on a large programme of projects and upgrades to the Cisco-based network infrastructure
- Contribute to the development of the infrastructure roadmap
- Physically install and uninstall hardware
Description
We are currently recruiting for a seasoned Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our leading Edinburgh-based client specializing in digital transformation.
