Requirements
Must:
- Extensive technical background with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
- Strong understanding of the technologies and challenges in data centre environments.
- Broad understanding of Juniper network environments (EX/QFX Switching, SRX Firewalls) - JNCIP preferred.
- Strong understanding of Juniper SRX security appliances.
- Experience in analyzing and upgrading network resources, including router/switch/uplink upgrades.
- Experience in deployment and maintenance for the trading, WAN, and public network infrastructure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Financial Services experience is beneficial.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience of network design in large data centres.
- Experience with Arista low latency switching environments.
- Understanding of VXLAN/EVPN deployment and management.
- Network Automation/Programming experience using Python and/or other scripting languages.
- Thorough understanding of Linux and Windows Server OS.
Responsibilities
- Manage global networks and assist with the technical delivery of all services across the network.
- Work with network and infrastructure teams to ensure client uptime.
- Liaise with internal and external customers to understand technical requirements through to resolution.
- Investigate and diagnose network-related incidents.
- Analyze and upgrade network resources as required, including router/switching upgrades.
- Respond to customer queries and adhere to contracted SLAs.
