Database Operations Tech Lead

In this role, you will lead the Business As Usual (BAU) operations of our enterprise database platforms. Your responsibilities will include ensuring high availability, performance, and resilience of critical data services, managing database lifecycle activities (such as patching, upgrades, and End-of-Life planning), and developing standard operating procedures for database operations. Collaboration with application teams to ensure database solutions meet performance and capacity requirements will be key. You will also drive automation and standardization of database processes, manage incident and problem resolution for database issues, conduct root cause analysis of recurring failures, provide operational reporting, and support disaster recovery planning and execution. Additionally, you will manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with security and audit requirements.
