Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience supporting client-server and web-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (SQL, PowerShell, Python, VBS).
- Understanding of virtualization (e.g., VMware) and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls).
- Familiarity with ITIL practices (incident, problem, change management).
- Awareness of security best practices and monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, Zabbix).
- Desirable skills include a background in Local Government systems and basic project management capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and adaptability are essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for client-server and web applications.
- Resolve incidents and escalations, ensuring timely updates to customers.
- Collaborate with project and service desk teams to onboard new customers and maintain build standards.
- Support hosted applications and contribute to process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with security and information management standards.
