Requirements
Must:
- Active MOD DV clearance is required
- Sole British National requirement
- Strong background in cyber security
- Experience in monitoring systems for security alerts
- Proven ability to review and develop security controls
- Familiarity with RBAC and IDAM services
- Capability to generate security reports
- Experience in conducting security awareness training
- Knowledge of ISO:27001 and governance standards
- Ability to provide support on security-related issues
- Collaborative mindset to work with Operational Security Manager
- Up-to-date with latest security threats and trends
- Broad experience in SIEM, Cloud Computing, and Incident Management
- Understanding of Networking, Threat Intelligence, and Phishing
- Background in ITSM policies and Information Classification
- Experience in team management and development
Responsibilities
- Monitor systems for security alerts, intrusions, or unauthorized activity
- Develop and review security controls to adapt to a growing technical environment
- Contribute to developing an RBAC model within the IDAM service
- Generate recurring service and security reports for stakeholders
- Provide security awareness training to users and visitors
- Manage certification processes for technical systems, including ISO:27001
- Offer ongoing support and guidance on security issues
- Collaborate with the Operational Security Manager to enhance SOC capabilities
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends
- Conduct research to deepen understanding of security disciplines
