Requirements
Must:
- eDV clearance
- Experience in Windows administration, hardening, deployment, management architectures, client and endpoint management, and device control
- Experience in Linux administration, hardening, deployment, management architectures, client and endpoint management, and device control
- Knowledge of Domain services - AD, LDAP, patching, AV, backup, and auditing
- Familiarity with monitoring technologies - Elastic, Kibana, Logstash, Grafana
- Proficiency in containerization technologies - Docker and Kubernetes management, deployment, monitoring, hardening, design patterns, and principles
- Understanding of cloud engineering - cloud native design principles and patterns on AWS and Azure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), automation, scaling, security-in-depth, Financial Operations (FinOps)
- Experience with hosting environments - platform management and hardening, cloud hosting environments
- Knowledge of virtualization - VMWare, ESXi, and hyper-converged infrastructure
- Experience with databases - SQL and NoSQL
- Knowledge of boundary control systems - gateways, diodes, firewalls, proxies
- Understanding of networks - LAN & WAN (mainly Cisco), Zero Trust Architectures
- Experience with storage - SAN & NAS (mainly EMC)
- Knowledge of messaging technologies - Exchange
- Experience with Dataflow technologies - NiFi, cloud to and from on-premise
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools - Bitbucket, GitLab, Concourse, Jenkins
- Familiarity with sustainable engineering patterns and design principles
- Experience with DevOps ways of working
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in infrastructure management and deployment
- Manage and harden Windows and Linux systems
- Implement domain services including AD and LDAP
- Utilize monitoring technologies to ensure system health
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS and Azure
- Manage virtualization environments and storage solutions
- Ensure boundary security through control systems
- Optimize networks for performance and security
- Collaborate with teams to implement CI/CD processes
- Maintain a focus on sustainable engineering practices
- Support diverse and inclusive work culture within the team
