Requirements
Must:
- Strong front-end development experience using modern frameworks/libraries, particularly React
- Proven experience designing and building front-end user interfaces for digital services
- Strong experience using Figma to interpret designs, prototypes, and design systems
- Solid understanding of accessibility, usability, and inclusive design principles
- Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams
- Strong JavaScript/React skills, with an emphasis on maintainable, reusable code
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain front-end components for a public-sector digital service
- Develop responsive, accessible user interfaces aligned to GDS
- Translate designs and prototypes into high-quality, performant front-end code
- Work closely with content designers and writers to support content-led journeys
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and services
- Ensure solutions align with GDS and GOV.UK standards, supporting iterative delivery
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement activities
Description
We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join our multidisciplinary Agile delivery team in Corsham, working hybrid 2-3 days per week. This role involves supporting the delivery of a public-facing government website aligned to GDS and Gov.UK service standards.
