Requirements
Must:
- Hands-on technologist with a track record in automation, integration, and digital solutions
- Proven experience in designing and delivering process automation, preferably using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
- Experience in building and supporting integrations between business-critical systems
- Comfort with data, workflows, and APIs to enhance services
- Strong technical foundation including experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Solid SQL Server and database skills
- Experience with modern development languages and tools
- Understanding of data integration, quality, and governance principles
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and responsible data use
- Experience in complex or multi-system environments
- Ability to document, standardize, and improve delivered solutions
- Motivation to explore AI concepts in a business context
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders
- Organized and proactive, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to building new systems and aligning with social values
Responsibilities
- Lead automation, system integration, and adoption of AI at Salvation Army Homes
- Collaborate with colleagues to envision and develop innovative technology solutions
- Create a single version of truth across systems, minimizing duplication and manual effort
- Shape the operation of this new role, setting standards and defining approaches
- Enhance decision-making through clean, connected data
- Experiment and deliver real impact in areas of low-code automation and cloud integration
- Document processes and improve upon existing solutions
- Translate complex technical ideas into plain language for stakeholders
- Drive the application of emerging technologies ethically and at scale
- Oversee the implementation of automation and integration initiatives
