Requirements
Must:
We are keen to speak with Technology Engineers from large organizations or Managed Service Providers (MSPs) who have exposure to technology infrastructure in customer-facing roles. To be successful in this position, you should have:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Intune and Exchange Online, focusing on license management, security and compliance configuration, and general product administration within the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
- Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) architecture, configuration, and management, with experience in conditional access policies, MFA, SSO, and application integrations.
- Proficiency in PowerShell for automation of M365 and Entra tasks.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for authentication, access, and service issues across M365 and Entra.
- Knowledge of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), privileged identity management (PIM), and Just-In-Time access.
- Familiarity with monitoring and reporting tools.
- Experience in maintaining and administering SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance, including implementing and managing security controls like DLP, MIP, and Defender for Office 365, as well as compliance features such as eDiscovery, retention policies, and auditing.
- Other relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Security Engineer Associate) are desirable.

Responsibilities
As our Technology Engineer, I will expect you to:
- Provide technical expertise to support project delivery tasks, including the implementation of new infrastructure and security functionalities to support various business units within Saga.
- Develop and maintain technical and process documentation, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Monitor systems proactively and raise issues with the business and technology team as required.
- Initiate and implement technical change requests to support business projects or resolve incidents, while keeping all internal and external stakeholders informed.
- Provide technical support for incidents raised by the business and ensure resolutions are achieved within target times.
- Conduct research and apply necessary security remediation and vulnerability management activities when required.

At Saga Plc, we are offering a salary between £50,000 to £55,000 per year, depending on your experience, along with a 9-month fixed-term contract. We operate in a hybrid work environment, with team members working in Folkestone for 2 days a week and having the flexibility to work from home for 3 days.
