Requirements
Must:
- Approximately 2-3 years experience in IT support
- Strong understanding of service desk/service support environment
- ITIL certification or strong understanding of ITIL practices
- Proficient in Microsoft services and tools
- Experience with ServiceNow is advantageous
- Demonstrates initiative and proactive approach to work
- Confident in delivering presentations and cross-training sessions
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational IT support for business users across Newport, Cwmbran, and Brackley
- Ensure continuity of IT services across all supported sites
- Manage and resolve support tickets, incidents, and system failures
- Handle service requests, such as new PCs and hardware deployment
- Contribute to project-related activities when required
- Get involved in improvement initiatives beyond business-as-usual support
