Requirements
Must:
- Active security clearance
- Strong background in Solution Architecture
- Experience in designing and delivering secure, scalable, and resilient architectures in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) environments
- Practical knowledge of Google Distributed Cloud (GDC)
- Experience with cloud solutions across major providers (Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle)
- Solid engineering background with understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Deployment Manager
- Experience with automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Expertise in networking, Identity and Access Management (IAM), containerisation (GKE/Kubernetes), and secure systems design
- Experience in configuring AI technologies within cloud environments, particularly GCP AI technologies
- Knowledge of multi-cloud integrations, edge computing, and data sovereignty requirements
- Deep technical expertise in Cloud, M365, Azure, AWS, Networks, Telephony, or Digital systems
- Familiarity with NCSC guidance, UK Government cloud policies, and cross-domain architectures
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient architectures in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Distributed Cloud (GDC)
- Implement cloud solutions across major providers
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for deployment and management
- Automate processes and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Configure networking, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and containerisation solutions
- Integrate AI technologies within GCP cloud environments
- Ensure compliance with data sovereignty and multi-cloud integration requirements
- Follow NCSC guidance and UK Government cloud policies in architectural designs
