Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience supporting VMware platforms in secure environments within the public sector.
- Proficiency in the design, configuration, administration, and support of VMware technologies, including ESXI, vSphere, HA configuration, vCenter, vSan & VmWare Aria.
- Experience in VMware Private Cloud setup and management using VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX architecture and design.
- VMware qualifications including VCP-DCV, NSX or VCAP.
- Active security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain VMware infrastructure for our central government client.
- Design and configure VMware environments to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Administer and troubleshoot various VMware technologies and platforms.
- Manage VMware Private Cloud setup and NSX architecture.
- Collaborate with the team to implement best practices in virtualization and cloud technologies.
Description
We are supporting our central government client in seeking a Senior VMware Infrastructure Engineer for an initial six-month assignment, with the option to extend. This role is based in Milton Keynes with a hybrid working model. We offer a dynamic team environment where you will have the opportunity to leverage your VMware expertise while working on critical projects.
