Requirements
Must:
- Active security clearance
- Strong background in Linux engineering
- Experience supporting enterprise Linux platforms in public sector secure environments
- Extensive knowledge of system stability, performance, security, and troubleshooting across a range of Linux-based services
- Significant experience in delivering Linux-based development activities
- Experience building and maintaining development environments
- Experience containerising applications and services
- RHCSA - Red Hat Certified System Administrator (desirable)
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (desirable)
- LFCS - Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Support enterprise Linux platforms in public sector secure environments
- Ensure system stability, performance, security, and troubleshoot Linux-based services
- Deliver Linux-based development activities including building and maintaining development environments
- Containerise applications and services as needed
Description
We are Summer-Browning Associates, currently supporting a central government client seeking a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer for an initial six-month assignment with the option to extend. This position is based in Milton Keynes with hybrid working opportunities. We are looking for candidates with a strong focus on Linux engineering and a proven track record in enterprise environments.
