Requirements
Must:
- Active SC clearance
- Extensive PMO Lead background
- Experience leading the PMO environment
- Knowledge of best practice frameworks in Government Project Delivery
- Expertise in Programme/Project Scheduling
- Resource management skills
- Risk & issue management experience
- Programme governance knowledge
- Budgeting & cost management proficiency
- Change control experience
- Proven leadership skills in managing PMO & Delivery teams
- Familiarity with Government business case frameworks
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and project scheduling tools
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Knowledge of agile tools and methods
- Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2)
- Familiarity with secure environments in the public sector or defence is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Lead the PMO environment for large-scale Government projects
- Implement best practice frameworks for project delivery
- Oversee Programme/Project Scheduling and Resource management
- Manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure Programme governance and compliance with standards
- Handle budgeting and cost management tasks
- Facilitate change control processes
- Lead and manage PMO & Delivery teams effectively
- Develop and review Government business case frameworks
- Utilize Microsoft 365 and project management tools
- Employ agile tools and methods for project delivery
- Foster a collaborative environment within multidisciplinary teams

We are a dedicated consultancy supporting central government initiatives, currently seeking a PMO Lead for an initial 6-month assignment based in Glasgow on a hybrid model.
