Requirements
Must:
- Experience working with written code such as Javascript (Typescript) and Node
- CDK AWS experience
- Strong communication skills to effectively explain architectural designs to various stakeholders
- Understanding of governance frameworks and risk management
- Ability to bridge technical and non-technical conversations
- Experience in decision-making processes under managed levels of risk and complexity
- Capability to turn business problems into technical designs
- Previous experience in a lead or architectural role is preferred
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and indirect stakeholders
- Facilitate relationships and communication among various parties
- Take responsibility for the assurance of service components and manage associated risks
- Make informed decisions regarding technical disputes among peers and stakeholders
- Apply strategic patterns, standards, policies, and roadmaps in projects
- Design technical systems that address business problems and complexities
- Challenge existing strategies and provide guidance
Description
We are currently seeking a Lead Technical Architect for an initial 6-month contract to support our Central Government client. This role offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of technical and non-technical teams, ensuring effective communication and governance. We value strong communication skills and a strategic mindset, and we encourage candidates with active or recently lapsed security clearances (SC) to apply.
