Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in product management, preferably within a compliance, verification, LegalTech, or regulated financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks and familiarity with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) processes and expectations.
- Experience engaging with regulators or supporting regulatory relationships is highly desirable.
- Understanding of LegalTech solutions and their application in KYC and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with agile product development processes.
- Passion for innovation and a proactive approach to understanding market dynamics and regulatory environments.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle from initial ideation to release.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance compliance features based on market trends, regulatory changes (including FCA requirements), and user feedback.
- Drive innovation within LegalTech and compliance-focused solutions.
- Lead market research and stakeholder discussions to define product requirements aligned with business objectives.
- Prioritise requirements to balance immediate needs and long-term goals, particularly in regulated and compliance-driven contexts.
- Design robust, user-centric features focused on company searches, verification, and broader compliance capabilities.
- Incorporate regulatory requirements and best practices into feature design, including FCA process considerations.
- Draft clear and comprehensive product specifications for engineering and QA teams.
- Coordinate closely with technical teams to manage feature development, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage product releases, including documentation, training materials, and stakeholder communications.
- Act as the primary point of contact for account management, support, and business development teams on compliance-related products.
- Provide detailed product insights, training, and updates to colleagues and clients.
- Engage with compliance, legal, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure alignment with FCA expectations.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), keeping up to date with regulatory developments and expectations.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, LegalTech developments, and regulatory updates (including FCA guidance) to inform product strategy.
- Gather and analyse user feedback and data analytics to continuously improve product offerings.
- Track and report on product performance metrics, assessing impact and identifying areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on product performance, upcoming features, and strategic direction.
