- Extensive hands-on experience in large organizations managing incident response and threat management is critical.
- A proven track record of leading cybersecurity teams is required.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field is necessary.
Responsibilities
- I will require the candidate to develop and execute incident response and threat management strategies.
- They will lead investigations, resolution, and post-incident analysis of security incidents.
- The role includes overseeing and mentoring a team of three direct reports, ensuring their growth and performance.
- Conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments to strengthen our defenses is essential.
- Collaborating across departments to embed robust security practices will be a key focus.
- The candidate will manage the relationship with the external Security Operations Centre (SOC) to ensure proactive threat detection and response.
- Staying updated on industry trends and representing our company at cybersecurity events is expected.
- Ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations is a must.
