Requirements
Must:
- I have strong experience in network IT system setup and management in commercial or industrial environments.
- I possess a deep understanding of IT networks and server system configurations, particularly with Windows/Linux servers and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN), which is highly beneficial.
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is advantageous.
- I have a strong understanding of IT security and data protection best practices.
- I demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- I excel in teamwork and communication abilities.
- Although a qualification in Tower Climbing / Working at Height would be beneficial, I am open to receiving certified training if I do not already hold a qualification, provided I am comfortable with heights.
Responsibilities
- I will configure and deploy networked servers, storage, networking hardware, and related software packages, as well as other IT system support infrastructure.
- I will check and validate installations and provide reports.
- I will configure and troubleshoot various types of connectivity systems.
- I will monitor system performance, undertake troubleshooting, and implement software patches and hardware replacements.
- I will support and train customer internal IT departments and technicians to enable them to take operational ownership and responsibility for the systems we have supplied, including day-to-day maintenance and issue identification and resolution.
- I will maintain accurate documentation of system changes and updates.
