Requirements
Must:
I am looking for candidates who have over 5 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development and at least 3 years working with React Native to build cross-platform apps. A strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript is essential. You should possess a deep understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices and platform-specific design standards. Practical experience with tools and libraries such as Expo, Redux, React Navigation, and Reanimated is also necessary. You need to be skilled in integrating RESTful APIs and external SDKs into mobile applications, proficient in using Git, and managing workflows with Expo/EAS, as well as implementing automated testing strategies. Lastly, I would like to see a demonstrated ability to deliver polished, stable apps used in real-world production environments.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. You will design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that seamlessly integrate with backend systems. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will plan, develop, and launch new app features while continuously improving app speed, responsiveness, and user experience. I expect you to provide technical guidance through code reviews and mentoring, supporting the professional development of team members. You will monitor emerging trends in mobile technology and suggest enhancements to existing practices. Additionally, you will contribute to software quality through comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and integration tests, and assist with QA efforts. It will also be your responsibility to oversee the release process for iOS and Android applications, ensuring smooth deployment to the App Store and Google Play.
Description
We are offering a salary between £60,000 and £70,000 depending on experience. The position will require monthly travel to our Bristol or London office. We have a 3-stage interview process that includes Technical Competencies, a Coding Challenge, and Culture Fit, starting on July 9th.
