QA Test Automation Engineer (Python) - Bath

Requirements
Must:
- Experience in test automation using Python
- Familiarity with Playwright (bonus but not essential)
- Experience with BDD style testing using Behave
- Knowledge of legacy systems: Python/Selenium/Behave
- Understanding of enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce (useful but not essential)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited documentation
- Strong communication skills to challenge requirements and ask the right questions
Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain existing automation solutions
- Work on automation for internal and external systems and websites
- Collaborate with other experienced Test Automation Engineers
- Focus on modernizing or rebuilding automation systems as needed
- Conduct testing across multiple platforms and customer journeys
- Engage with teams to ensure clarity of requirements and documentation
Description
We are a fast-growing company seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our established QA team of 15 exceptional professionals. This role is predominantly remote, requiring occasional travel to our office in Bath, UK. You will be an essential part of our supportive tech culture, led by a CTO who emphasizes work-life balance. The initial 12-month contract has the potential to become permanent, with a salary of up to £50,000.
