Requirements
Must:
- I have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview implementation.
- I am proficient in Azure data services, including ADF, Synapse, SQL, Data Lake, and Power BI.
- I possess a good understanding of data governance, metadata, and data quality principles.
- I have experience with automation scripting using PowerShell, ARM, and Azure CLI.
- I have excellent documentation and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- I will configure and manage Microsoft Purview for metadata, lineage, and classification.
- I will connect Purview to Azure and on-prem data sources, such as Data Lake, Synapse, SQL, Power BI, and ADF.
- I will implement and automate data quality rules, profiling, and dashboards.
- I will enable and maintain metadata, glossary, and classification structures.
- I will integrate Purview with ADF, Synapse, and Power BI for full data lineage.
- I will automate configuration and scanning via PowerShell, ARM/Bicep, or Azure CLI.
- I will manage roles, permissions, and access in accordance with governance and privacy policies.
- I will produce technical documentation and handover materials for internal teams.

We are seeking a Purview Implementation Specialist to deliver the setup and integration of Microsoft Purview within our Azure data environment. This role focuses on metadata management, lineage tracking, and data quality enablement to support enterprise data governance and compliance.
