We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager with a strong background in product management within the public sector. You should have proven experience defining vision and strategy, balancing user needs with organizational objectives, and delivering measurable value. Familiarity with managing product backlogs and roadmaps, as well as knowledge of user research and data-driven decision-making, is crucial. You must be skilled in engaging with policy stakeholders and senior leaders to translate policy intent into actionable product decisions. Additionally, experience in mentoring junior product managers and fostering capability growth is important.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to define and communicate the vision and strategy for your product, ensuring it aligns with our program objectives. You will manage the product backlog and roadmap, prioritizing features and improvements based on user needs and evidence. Leading product delivery through the full lifecycle, from discovery to live, will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will use insights from user research and data to inform decisions, measure outcomes, and drive continuous improvement. Moreover, you will engage with and influence policy stakeholders, support the development of business cases and value propositions, and build strong working relationships with delivery teams and user researchers.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will take ownership of a key product in our major public sector program, which aims to bring together multiple services into a single, user-friendly product for both users and internal-facing tools. You will be responsible for driving the product through its lifecycle and embedding strong product management practices across our team.
