Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience across the TypeScript stack (Node.js & React)
- Comfortable across both backend and frontend development, with a potential lean towards one area of the stack
- Ideally possess expertise in infrastructure/DevOps
- Experience in a fast-paced start-up environment or capability to thrive in such an environment
- Previous experience of leading engineers or a strong desire to step into a leadership role
- Passion for environmentally-focused products or developing innovative solutions for societal issues
- Strong user-focus; ability to build products that prioritize user impact
- Ability to build things quickly at scale
- Highly collaborative and enthusiastic about working in a hybrid setting alongside exceptional colleagues a couple of days a week in Bristol
Responsibilities
- Work on a range of complex engineering challenges
- Lead a small team of engineers
- Contribute to the development of a suite of products aimed at supporting the UK’s goal of becoming net-zero by 2050
- Maintain impressive technical skills while stepping into leadership
