Lead Test Automation Engineer - Remote

Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Automation Engineer
- Strong automation skills in tools like Playwright, Cypress, and Typescript
- Familiarity with C# is ideal
- Experience in testing complex platforms, particularly in regulated or high-risk environments such as finance or compliance
- Ability to design and maintain automated test frameworks for modern web applications
- Comfort with building frameworks and testing REST APIs
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and best practices in QA processes
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience mentoring junior team members
Responsibilities
- Lead the QA strategy and improve processes within the team
- Collaborate closely with DevOps on CI/CD and QA practices
- Shape quality assurance from the start by challenging requirements and spotting risks
- Ensure that all releases are robust, secure, and built to last
- Work directly with enterprise clients to define sensible test strategies
- Review code and guide teams on quality best practices
- Conduct automated testing across Angular front ends and .NET back ends
- Actively review internal team code and external client-side code for security and performance
- Focus on building strong automation and conduct API testing
