Must:
We are looking for a Junior Developer/Application Support Engineer who is technically minded and has some coding experience. We are open to candidates with experience in various coding languages, as we work with a range of technologies. Ideally, you will have experience supporting software or CMS-based products. While exposure to software testing would be useful, it is not essential. A collaborative, can-do attitude and excellent communication skills are necessary for this role.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide technical support for a variety of internal and customer-facing systems, including web applications, CMS platforms, and more complex software products. Your day-to-day tasks will involve troubleshooting issues, monitoring application performance, and collaborating closely with the development team to resolve technical challenges, deploy updates, and enhance the systems. Additionally, you will assist with testing (integration and regression) when needed to ensure smooth and reliable operations. You will also be responsible for creating clear, user-friendly support documentation, such as guides, FAQs, and incident reports.
Description
This position is primarily remote, with team meetups in Cardiff approximately once every two months. We offer a salary of up to £37,000, depending on your experience. There are opportunities for you to transition into development roles in the future, although the immediate focus will be on providing technical-level support.
