Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates with over 5 years of full stack development experience.
- Strong expertise in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript is essential.
- I require experience in backend API development, preferably using Python (Node is also considered).
- Knowledge of cloud deployment (AWS or similar) and database management (MySQL) is necessary.
- I value strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Desirable qualifications include experience with AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, AWS Bedrock), React Native/mobile development, Linux, or UX/product skills.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will build and maintain features across our React frontend and backend APIs.
- You will collaborate with our founder, product, and design teams on new features.
- I expect you to influence our architecture and technical strategy.
- Ensuring reliability and performance in production environments will be part of your duties.
- You will lead code reviews, improve processes, and mentor junior team members.
Description
- We are a fully funded AI start-up developing an intelligent lifestyle assistant platform already utilized by clients like McKinsey, PwC, and Clifford Chance. We are expanding our engineering team and seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help shape our platform, mobile app, and client sites as we scale. - We offer a salary of up to £80,000, along with an equity package (approximately £10,000). - Enjoy 26 days of holiday, plus an additional day off for your birthday and work anniversary. - Our work environment is hybrid and flexible, requiring only 2 days per week in our Bracknell office, which is commutable from London, Reading, or Guildford. - There are clear opportunities for progression into senior or lead roles as the team expands.
