Requirements
Must:
- Strong backend experience using Node.js, including frameworks like Express, NestJS, or Gatsby.
- Proficient frontend experience with React.js.
- Comfortable working with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and other database technologies.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful and gRPC services.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka for distributed data streaming.
- Experienced with CI/CD practices, Git workflows, and automated testing.

As a Full Stack Developer, I will expect you to help design, develop, and deliver intuitive, scalable digital solutions for our government partners. You will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to build synthetic environments and decision support tools that model real-world systems, including transport networks, terrain, and population dynamics.
Description
This is a hybrid position that requires you to be onsite in London for 2 days a week. The role is classified as Inside IR35 and offers a competitive daily rate of £550-£650. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, with a contract duration of 6 months and the potential for 2-3 years worth of work.
