Requirements

Must:
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including Power BI, Data Engineering, Data Factory, and Lakehouse. - Experience in conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA) and translating findings into visual narratives for decision-makers. - Proficiency in designing user-friendly analytics interfaces that ensure high performance and accessibility. - Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 standards for accessibility in design. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and User Researchers. - Strong communication skills to present prototypes and final designs and capture stakeholder feedback. - Experience in maintaining documentation and data models for scalability in data products.

Responsibilities

- I partner with Business Analysts and Product Teams to identify high-impact analytical opportunities and deliver insights using Microsoft Fabric. - I conduct exploratory data analysis within Fabric to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends, translating findings into clear visual stories for decision-makers. - I work alongside Data Engineers to support data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering using Fabric’s Data Factory, Lakehouse, and pipelines. - I design and develop a single-pane-of-glass analytics interface within Microsoft Fabric, integrating dashboards, reports, and data assets into a cohesive user experience. - I implement WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards to ensure the interface is inclusive and usable for all audiences. - I optimize front-end performance across Fabric workspace components to ensure efficient load times and seamless interactions. - I collaborate with User Researchers to conduct user testing, incorporate feedback, and iteratively refine the interface design. - I maintain Fabric-specific documentation, data models, and reusable components to support scalable delivery across future data products. - I engage closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Engineers, and Business Analysts to understand data structures and choose the most effective visualization approaches within Power BI / Fabric. - I present prototypes and final designs to stakeholders, capturing feedback and aligning outputs with evolving needs.

As part of the build-out of a new data team, we are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to design, develop, and deliver a unified analytics interface for our stakeholders. The role entails consolidating data, dashboards, reports, models, and analytical outputs into a single, user-friendly Fabric-based experience. Our goal is to create a solution that is visually intuitive, performant, accessible, and aligned with user needs across the organization.
