Requirements
Must:
- Degree covering hardware and networking
- Decent understanding of networking fundamentals, topology, and structured networks
- Some knowledge of structured networks and wireless technologies, virtual servers, and cloud-hosted environments
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Well-organised and proactive
- Full driving licence
- Based within commutable distance of Mansfield (e.g., Chesterfield, Nottingham, or Sheffield)
Responsibilities
- Support customers across a wide range of public and private sector businesses
- Work with integrated security systems, such as CCTV infrastructure, IP networks, and IP door entry/access control systems
- Provide remote technical support and troubleshoot issues
- Diagnose and resolve software-related faults using remote access tools
- Take ownership of complex technical cases as confidence grows
- Support the team during critical incidents, such as service outages
- Complete clear and accurate documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service to maintain the company’s reputation
