Requirements
Must:
- 10+ years of high-level back-end development experience.
- Expertise in building large-scale distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Mastery of Node.js and TypeScript with a strong understanding of both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud ecosystem (Service Bus, Event Hub, Functions).
- Proven ability to work in an Agile, Trunk-Based Development environment with CI/CD proficiency.
- Experience integrating GenAI tools into the daily engineering workflow to increase velocity.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and scaling of microservices and event-driven back-end services.
- Drive an AI-first workflow, utilizing Cursor agents and GenAI tools for code generation, testing, and SDLC optimization.
- Own the reliability and observability of the platform using DataDog and Azure platform services.
- Mentor senior engineers through design reviews and by modeling high-performance engineering practices.
- Implement complex financial modeling tools, including purchase price waterfalls and legal steps matrices.
- Optimize system performance and security across RESTful and GraphQL interfaces within a monorepo structure.
