Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years experience in an IT environment.
- Degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent work experience.
- CISSP, CISM, or similar certification in the security field.
- Vendor certifications in cloud and network security (Azure, AWS, VMWare, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, Versa Networks).
- Knowledge of technical cyber security controls and their applicability to complex infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based architecture and development.
- Strong communication skills, especially in conveying complex technical information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence teams.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or DevOps methodologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of privileged access/identity management and data privacy/security principles is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide approvals for enterprise and solution architects at key stage gates to ensure compliance with security architecture governance.
- Document governance and approval decisions in various technical documents.
- Offer security architecture guidance throughout the infrastructure lifecycle.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to develop security policies and automations.
- Provide security architecture input during product ideation stages.
- Research emerging infrastructure security technologies and trends.
- Influence company security policies and standards.
