Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in a Cloud Operations / Infrastructure Engineer role.
- Deep technical knowledge across cloud and on-prem platforms.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, routing).
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery technologies (Azure Backup, Redstor, etc.).
- Familiarity with endpoint management and security technologies (Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint).
- Experience using Tanium, Okta, and Netskope.
- Proficiency with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
- Azure or M365 advanced certifications (e.g., AZ-305, MS-700).
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain Azure and hybrid environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Proactively monitor system health, performance, and availability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other tools.
- Apply and manage governance, compliance, and security policies across cloud estates.
- Execute backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
- Perform proactive monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis of mission-critical systems.
- Configure, optimise, and secure servers, virtual machines, networking, and storage solutions.
- Create and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to automate operational tasks.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new cloud and hybrid solutions.
- Work closely with architecture and project teams on new deployments and migrations.
