Must:
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who possesses strong hands-on automation experience. You must have a solid understanding of QA processes, API testing (such as Postman), and system integration testing. Experience with automation tools like Cucumber and JUnit, as well as load and performance testing, is essential. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Git is also required, along with agile delivery experience. If you have experience in mentoring, leadership, or team management, that would be a significant advantage. Additionally, you need to be eligible for security clearance upon joining, and you must pass identity, residency, and criminal record checks.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will assess requirements and their testability, create test scripts and data, and execute tests while logging results and retesting fixes. You will be responsible for reporting progress and raising issues as they arise.

This is a permanent position within our growing digital transformation team, where we are modernizing legacy systems into cloud-native solutions using Java, DevOps, and agile practices. The role offers hybrid working, with an average of 2-3 days per week in Telford, and the salary ranges from £46,000 to £67,000 depending on experience, plus a bonus. We are seeking someone who is hands-on, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
