Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP)
- Strong 2nd Line support skills, with aspirations to grow into 3rd Line support
- Proficiency in Office 365, Exchange, and SharePoint
- Experience with Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Intune
- Familiarity with Windows Servers (2019, 2016, 2012, 2008)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Routing
- Experience with VPN and Remote Desktop Services
- Understanding of firewall and router configurations
- Strong communication skills for customer interactions
Responsibilities
- Handle second line support requests related to workstations, servers, and networks
- Provide technical support for Microsofts core business applications and operating systems
- Support WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
- Implement and support remote access solutions, such as VPN and Remote Desktop Services
- Monitor remote monitoring and management system alerts and respond through service tickets
- Communicate with customers regarding incident progress and service updates
- Collaborate with the Service Desk Manager to route requests efficiently
- Escalate service requests requiring 3rd line and field service engineer support
