Requirements
Must:
- Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects.
- Solid experience with VMware/Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Acronis, Cove).
- Strong networking skills, including VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls (Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, Watchguard).
- Experience with storage solutions (Dell, Synology).
- Familiarity with endpoint security technologies (Defender, Sophos).
- Proven background in delivering complex IT projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead 3rd-line support across servers, networking, virtualization, cloud, and security.
- Deliver end-to-end projects involving server migrations, Azure deployments, and network upgrades.
- Act as a technical point of contact for clients.
- Mentor and support junior engineers while ensuring best practices are followed across the team.
- Oversee security solutions and ensure compliance.
- Produce clear documentation and client reports.
Description
We are a fast-growing Managed Service Provider in the creative sector, seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to join our team in London. This senior, hands-on role focuses on complex infrastructure, 3rd-line support, and leading technical project delivery. We offer a hybrid working environment with a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, along with WFH Fridays and additional remote working days.
