Requirements
Must:

- Proven experience with CRM, ERP, and integrated business systems, including implementation and optimisation
- Deep understanding of process mapping, workflow automation, and business process improvement
- Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, data protection, and IT governance
- Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience at a senior/executive level
- Ability to translate complex technology concepts into actionable business solutions
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the IT and digital transformation strategy aligned with long-term business goals
- Introduce, integrate, and optimise CRM systems, ERP platforms, and other core business applications to improve operational efficiency
- Lead initiatives to streamline processes, automate workflows, and make systems intuitive for end-users
- Ensure robust cyber security frameworks and data governance across all IT systems
- Drive digital innovation, identifying and implementing technologies that create measurable business value
- Manage, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with commercial, operations, and finance teams to ensure technology solutions support growth and profitability
- Lead technology projects from concept to delivery, managing budgets, risk, and stakeholder expectations
Description
We are a rapidly expanding packaging distributor, recognised as one of the leading companies in the UK and Europe. We are seeking an exceptional Head of IT & Digital Transformation to shape our technology strategy, drive innovation, and embed digital transformation across our organisation. This role is based in Bedford and offers a competitive salary between £70,000 and £100,000 DOE, along with benefits such as 23 days holiday (rising to 25), a health cash plan, life insurance, catered lunches twice a week, free snacks and beverages, and a salary exchange pension.
