Must:
We are looking for someone with a passion for technology and a proactive approach to customer relationships. You should have strong problem-solving skills and experience within a similar role. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 and knowledge of Active Directory (AD) user administration is essential. You should also possess a good understanding of general IT hardware, including laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and mobile devices (iOS & Android). Strong communication skills are vital. Desirable knowledge includes Microsoft Terminal Services, Thin Client, IP telephony (ideally Mitel), networking TCP/IP, Anti-Virus solutions, and experience with PC hardware build and refurbishment.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide 1st line technical support to all our employees, handling various IT-related enquiries. You will review and monitor all faults and tasks that come through our IT Support ticketing system, ensuring timely responses and updates. You will also support users with applications such as Business Central and assist retail users with Retail Power App issues. Your responsibilities will include managing calls escalated through third parties and ensuring users receive initial call reference information and regular ticket status updates. Additionally, you will actively monitor and assess internal procedures, proposing improvements when necessary. It will be important to promote user surveys to gather feedback on satisfaction and process enhancement. You will handle the creation and maintenance of user IDs according to IT and HR policy, perform daily system checks, and communicate effectively with relevant parties. You will also manage stock levels for IT consumables, obtain quotes for supplies, ensure equipment readiness for branch openings, prepare new and used PCs, and ensure accurate asset recording in our database.
