Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in a technical support or field engineering role
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Good knowledge of IT systems, hardware, and networking
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational and documentation skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with networking equipment such as routers, switches, and Wi-Fi (desirable)
- Knowledge of telecoms, VoIP, broadband, or fibre services (desirable)
- Relevant technical certifications or equivalent experience (desirable)
- Experience working to SLAs and using ticketing systems (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support, diagnostics, and fault resolution for customer systems and equipment
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure
- Respond to service requests and incidents
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, escalating where necessary
- Carry out preventative maintenance and system health checks
- Accurately document work completed, including reports and service notes
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and communication
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures while working on-site
- Work independently in the field while collaborating with internal teams
