Requirements
Must:
- Strong background in the construction industry
- Solid financial/commercial experience
- Experience as a quantity surveyor or finance/accounting professional
- Knowledge of UK construction accounting and commercial processes (CIS, valuations, applications for payment, retentions)
- Strong change management skills including stakeholder engagement and communications planning
- Confident project management skills, including scoping delivery and budgeting
- Ability to turn operational needs into clear system designs and reports
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for customer success
- Nice to have: experience line-managing junior consultants
- Nice to have: proven experience implementing construction-related software
- Nice to have: experience with integrations between finance/ERP and field/project tools
- Nice to have: exposure to UK GAAP, HMRC reporting, and MTD
- Nice to have: prior work with Sage Intacct Construction
Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholders through change and facilitate decision-making
- Plan communications and training tailored to different audiences
- Own end-to-end delivery including scoping, solution design, testing, and go-live
- Manage effective project rhythms and keep delivery on time and on budget
- Build practical dashboards and reporting for decision-making
- Act as a trusted advisor on project accounting and procurement
- Translate construction needs into robust system designs and workflows
- Measure outcomes and iterate for lasting results
- Guide configuration and oversee data migration with integrity
- Coordinate integrations with common UK construction tools
- Conduct line management for junior consultants and mentor the team
- Contribute to playbooks and present at customer forums
Description
