Requirements
Must:
- We are looking for an experienced Instrument Designer / C&I Designer.
- We require previous Instrument / C&I design experience.
- We require strong CAD and 3D modelling skills.
- AVEVA PDMS experience would be beneficial.
- Experience within industrial, process, or energy environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of UK standards and legislation relevant to regulated industrial environments is required.
Responsibilities
- We will produce loop diagrams, cable diagrams, and schematics.
- We will develop 3D models and other design deliverables.
- We will produce cable schedules and bills of materials.
- We will support multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- We will ensure our designs comply with UK standards and legislation.
- We will contribute to ongoing project work within a regulated industrial environment.
Description
We are a large engineering business offering a 12-month contract for an Instrument Designer / C&I Designer in Manchester. The role offers hybrid working, with Tuesday to Thursday in the office, and pay of £35 to £40 per hour, inside or outside IR35. We are supporting ongoing project work in a regulated industrial environment and are looking for someone to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute high-quality design deliverables.
