Must:
We are looking for candidates who have experience within the Lloyds of London or London Market. You should possess extensive skills in Business Intelligence (BI) and SQL development along with strong Management Information (MI) analysis capabilities. A solid understanding of design and architectural patterns in BI, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and experience working with software suppliers, consultancies, or service providers are essential. Your ability to prioritize diverse and complex requirements will be key to your success in this role. Technical expertise in T-SQL, Power BI, Microsoft SSIS, Microsoft SSRS, and distributed source control systems (such as Git or Mercurial) is required. Experience with Snowflake is desirable but not essential, and an understanding of insurance terminology is beneficial.
Responsibilities
As a Power BI Developer, you will take charge of the full lifecycle of Business Intelligence reports, from analysis and design to development, implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. You will develop and maintain Business Intelligence reports using Power BI and related technologies. Collaboration is crucial, as you will work across teams to analyze and design BI solutions that meet our business needs. You will ensure that we deliver high-quality, reliable data insights and reporting outputs, while actively engaging with stakeholders to prioritize and effectively deliver on complex requirements. Additionally, you will support junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing, while proactively identifying issues early in the software development lifecycle.
