Requirements
Must:
- Strong finance support background
- IT skills
- Experience with ERP System Support and ongoing Support Desk activities
- Knowledge in Financials, Trading Sales Order Processing, and Despatch
- Understanding of Operations, Stock Control, Purchase Order Processing, Intake, Production & BOM, Warehouse Management, and Quality Control
- Strong communication ability for 1st & 2nd Line support
- Documentation skills with an organized and methodical approach
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Team player for internal collaboration and problem solving
- Desirable: SQL skills for queries and data validation
- Desirable: Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS
- Desirable: Understanding of APIs, EDI & VPN connectivity
Responsibilities
- Provide first-class support to existing and new customers
- Focus on financial modules within the ERP system
- Liaise seamlessly with all levels of staff, from junior members to senior management
- Deliver 1st & 2nd Line support directly to end users
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal support documentation and user guides
- Collaborate with team members to promote problem-solving and support
- Assist in ongoing Support Desk activities
Description
We are a successful long-established software house based in Bury St Edmunds, providing ERP solutions to a diverse range of market sectors. We are looking to expand our support team with a role that emphasizes our financial modules within the ERP system. We offer a hybrid working model (minimum of 2 days in the office) and a standard 37-hour working week. Our ideal candidate is proactive, a self-learner, and possesses excellent communication skills.
