- Proven experience in security practices across multiple technologies with expertise in security architecture.
- Strong ability to work at senior technology levels and ensure tactical activities align with strategic objectives.
- Commercial experience in product selection, contract negotiation, vendor relationships, and service management.
- Agility of thought, comfort with complexity, patience, and resilience to overcome change inertia.
- A commitment to supporting the business’s goals while effectively managing Cybersecurity risk within the business risk appetite.
- Likely educated to degree level with broad knowledge in Technology and Cybersecurity.
- Recognized security architecture qualifications (e.g., SABSA, TOGAF, CISSP-ISSAP) and relevant Security Operations certifications (e.g., CISM, CRISC, SANS, CISSP, GIAC).

Responsibilities
- Provide subject-matter expertise and leadership in support of RMG’s Cybersecurity strategy.
- Manage and influence mid and senior stakeholders across technology and business units, simplifying complex issues to enhance understanding.
- Ensure that RMG’s change and BAU renewal programs receive timely, accurate, and pragmatic security advice.
- Integrate security considerations into RMG’s software development, infrastructure, and platform adoption.
- Perform threat modeling and security impact assessments to support security architecture development and requirements specification.
- Ensure compliance with RMG Security Architecture for applicable Solution Architectures, guiding projects throughout development.
- Innovate within the development of security architecture and patterns, leveraging vendor, open-source, and internally developed technologies.
- Maintain commercial awareness, understanding RMG’s revenue-generating business lines and enabling appropriate security measures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of RMG Security Architecture and collaborate with suppliers and various RMG business areas to enhance security controls.
